Goal Setting: From Vision to Action

Many people set goals without having a vision for the overall bigger picture. Vision is what drives us as leaders, but how do we take our dreams and see them to fruition? This workshop will discuss not only how to create a vision, but also how to effectively goal set to turn vision into reality.

The Leader in You: Your Personal Leadership Philosophy

As leaders, we are constantly communicating who we are and what we value to those that we are working with. This workshop will help you understand the 91ÖÆƬ³§ University leadership model and philosophy and walk you through creating your very own PLP.

Duration: 45-60 minutes

Learning Outcomes:

  • Uncover your personal core values and see how they connect to the 91ÖÆƬ³§ community.
  • Create your own Personal Leadership Philosophy (PLP) to use as your leadership compass.
  • Learn how being clear about what you stand for helps you guide others with confidence.

  • Practice active listening techniques to ensure message clarity and team alignment.
  • Learn how to share helpful, honest feedback with your peers in a way that builds trust instead of tension.
The Nature of Conflict: Find Your Style, Find the Solution

Friction is a natural part of working in a group, but healthy disagreement can actually lead to creative breakthroughs when navigated correctly. This session dives into the different types of team conflict and guides you through the Conflict Animal Styles assessment. Discover whether you naturally act as a Shark, Owl, Turtle, Fox, or Teddy Bear, and learn how to use your personal style to achieve positive, mutually respectful outcomes.

Duration: 45-60 minutes

Everyday Leadership: Small Actions, Lasting Impact

You do not need a huge platform to create a meaningful change at 91ÖÆƬ³§. Inspired by the concept of "lollipop moments" and daily intentional choices, this workshop focuses on the immediate actions you can take every single day to uplift others and strengthen the culture at 91ÖÆƬ³§. Learn how regular habits of kindness, accountability, and showing up for others can build a powerful sense of community and help shape our campus community.

Duration: 45-60 minutes

Learning Outcomes:

  • Define leadership through everyday behaviors rather than formal titles or status.
  • Map out specific micro-actions that foster trust and collaboration within a peer group.
  • Implement intentional, values-based actions that contribute to a positive overall 91ÖÆƬ³§ culture.
Lead Where You Are: Leading Without a Title

There is a leadership myth that you have to be elected President or hold a specific title to make a difference. In reality, some of the most powerful leadership happens when you don't have a title at all. Whether you are a new general body member, a committee volunteer, a student worker, or not involved in extracurriculars yet, your voice matters. This workshop is designed to build your confidence to speak up, share your ideas, and step up from any seat at the table. Learn how to get your peers excited about your ideas and make a lasting impact on your organization from day one.

Duration: 45-60 minutes

Learning Outcomes:

  • Develop the confidence to share your perspective and speak up during meetings, regardless of your official position.
  • Practice practical ways to pitch new ideas and get your peers on board with a project.
  • Identify specific opportunities to take initiative and make an impact within a student organization or campus group.
